Hi, I’m Sally. Thanks for visiting my website.

I’m a novelist, short story writer and book review from Cape Town, South Africa.

Writing books has changed my life in so many ways and since publishing my first novel ten years ago, I’ve achieved so much. I’m a four-time winner of the M.E.R Prize for Youth Fiction, was shortlisted for the prestigious Commonwealth Writer’s Short Story Prize and was named one of the Mail & Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans.

I’m passionate about youth literature and inspiring others on their writing journey. Watch this space for updates on my writing workshops, festival appearances, school visits and other news.
